Flower Bed

This is a knit-wear collection designed for women ages 16 to 25. My target market is for young girls who like to mix-n-match different patterns and like bold spring colors. With my collection, I want people to feel great lounging in fun, whimsical designs. for this collection, I picture cotton as the main fiber. Cotton is durable and strong so it lasts for a long time. It is flexible and has a lot of stretch. This is important for loungewear. Cotton is very soft and comfy, which is perfect for loungewear!​ Cotton is also thermo-regulating so it helps keep people warm and cool. Simulation also played a big role in this project. it allowed me to see how the colors and yarns would respond to the knitted structure.
