From Farm to Table

 "From Farm to Table" is a printed textile collection for women who enjoy wearing whimsical designs while in the kitchen. This collection focused on cotton and its wonderful properties within the kitchen.  Cotton is absorbent, which is great because lots of spills happen in the kitchen and at the table. ​Cotton is also durable and strong, which is good for bar stools and oven mitts that are used daily.​ Cotton also possesses some heat-resistant properties that help when being near items like stoves and ovens. My goal with this collection was to create playful, whimsical motifs that brighten up the kitchen and make cooking even more enjoyable. I used pen and ink to draw my motifs, then transferred them to Kaledo print for clean-up.
